First Bandaid
We have our first official Bandaid... He scraped his toes crawling over a tack strip...He was pretty upset and I couldn't figure out why until it split open the next morning as he was crawling around. Sorry buddy, you are a good sport!
New Toy for Daddy?
We have a new addition to the toy collection. I am not sure who will enjoy it more. I can see the days of driving have a whole new meaning. Look out Tiger Woods, Jack Buchanan may have a few more months of practice if we can get him started now...
This is a pretty cool craigslist find thanks to Auntie!

One Year Ago today
A New Perspective on the world
Hey all,
Since I don't keep a baby book or remember to update the calendar I thought I would document, publically, that Jack is officially pulling himself to a stand. He has been practicing going from hands and knees to a sitting position but today he reached new heights and LOVES to stand. No longer can I push him over to keep him from progressing. Photos to come soon of this new talent, but for now enjoy the knowledge, or documentation, which ever you prefer.
As for this weekend, here are a couple photos from the Buchanan household... Bryan took Jack to a family reunion picnic, I was at a work reunion picnic (but will not post my photos you will have to visit me to enjoy those). Jack rode a train with Daddy and Uncle Chris and Grandma SL stayed over for a night.

Good Bye Kauai
We are home safe, tired and sound. We arrived at the airport last night about 9pm and couldn't find our keys that Bryan told me were put in the diaper bag. We looked and looked but no luck. So, we called our friend Lindsy Lohan of course. She came to the rescue and picked us up and took us home, in her little car, packed to the brim (she even took photos which I am sure will be a post soon). We hoped that our neighbor was home with our key, since we didn't have that key either. LUCKILY, both Lohan and our neigbor were there to help out and come to our rescue. We then realized that our spare key for the car, may actually be in the car. In the end, the keys were found in the diaper bag, tucked safely away and two hours later Jack was clean and in bed, Bryan was home with the car (with one headlight working- isn't that a song?) and Lohan was home safe too. THANK YOU for your help Lohan and neighbor! Do the Buchanan's know how to delay ending a vacation or what? Today was back to the grind for Bryan and return to school for Jack. For me, I am unpacking and blogging and doing laundry and dishes. Next up, grocery shopping.
Good Bye Kauai, it was nice to visit again. Bryan and I hope to return one year without the kid.
