Raspberries

As long as I am on a posting rampage I thought you might enjoy a few video clips. Here is one of our favorite past times, giving raspberries!

AVOCADOS! May 25, 2009

Everyone came to the table yesterday for his first bite of avocado, even Uncle Newman! 

He was NOT a fan, as you can see, but we will keep trying...

What is the recipe you ask? Well, let me tell you, it was an organic avocado, mushed and then mixed with breast milk. Tasty! 

 As with our usual fashion, the TV is on in the background for commentary. Enjoy!

6 Months Old

Dear Jack,

You are six months old. Wow, time has gone by fast. You have taught your daddy and I SO much. You are now doing so many things like sitting up, rolling around and even eating avocado! Every morning you wake up so happy and readily share smiles with so many all day! You and I take a photo each work morning and email it to daddy (and me) so you stay close to us even when we are at work. When you are at school with Mrs. Colleen you have so many friends to keep you company. When daddy picks you up you listen to the same CD and sing all the way home to play until I join you. We love you so much more than words can say.

Sleeping through the ceremony...
Last weekend we took an overnight trip to Reno to help celebrate Kelsey's graduation from The University of Nevada, Reno. It was beautiful weather and Jack was able to meet his Aunts, Uncles and Great Grandparents. 

Thank You Bryan & Baby Jack

I woke up on Mother's Day this year at 8am (Yup, that is sleeping in big time!)

I walked downstairs to find Bryan and Jack framed on the counter (a photo of them all dressed up anyway). They were really playing on the floor in the living room waiting for me to wake up!

Bryan found matching white button up shirts and they both wore ties for the pictures. It is so darn cute I thought I would share. 

I love you both! 

 

You might want to turn down the sound...

Jack is now showing us a whole range of sounds, intonations and we are starting to hear new consonants regularly. Yup, I am a nerd who enjoys watching NORMAL development too! No more baby talk for this baby, he enjoys hearing all the sounds!
