Future babysitters!

When we were in the city last weekend I took a day trip up to visit Sarah, Pete, Cole, Cooper and Grace. It was so nice to see them and hard to believe that Cooper was Jack's age when I first met them! Cooper will be turning 9 years old in a couple of days! Happy birthday Cooper!

Maybe at the next conference in the city Jack can hang out and play while Bryan and I get away!

Nana's House

We took Jack to Bryan's Nana's house today. It was bitter sweet since Nana was never able to meet Jack but fun to show him around. The boys took gathered on the rock for a quick photo shoot. We are not sure we are able to bring the rock to our place since it is so big and will cost a pretty penny so now we will have another photo to take with us! It is much lighter than that big granite rock!

Jack's In The Box

This is Jack.

He is in a box.

Jack in the box meet Jack in the box!

4 Months Old!

How did he get to be 4 Months Old?
Bryan and I still look at each other often and think how lucky we are to have Jack in our lives.
He is such an amazing little man who is pretty easy going and so smiley!
He started daycare this week and has had no problem with the bottle. He sleeps well for Colleen and has initiated himself into her care with a complete blow out today!
Bryan and I are so lucky to have found her and feel so grateful for her care of Jack.

We hope you have a wonderful weekend and are enjoying this beautiful weather!

First Day at Daycare

So I have a photo of Jack and his first teacher, but I forgot to ask permission to put it on the blog, so I will verbally describe it.

Jack and Colleen were all smiles, Jack with his fist in his mouth drooling all the way down his outfit. The picture that was not captured was his parents, outside her home after dropping him off fighting back tears wondering what the heck just happened.

He had a great first day. He was all smiles when we entered, animated and trying to interact with the big kids. He ate very well with no problems, took a nap without even trying to put him down and was still all smiles when I picked him up. He fell asleep momentarily once back in the car and was so tired from all the new stimulation he was fighting to go to bed early!

Today will be his second day and he is napping in preparation. Jack we are so excited to watch your adventures with Colleen and Crew!

Weekend in San Francisco

We went for our second get away with Jack. He was a great traveler and enjoyed flirting with all the people we came across. We enjoyed watching him in a new environment and look forward to more adventures.

Cheers Big Ears!

What kind of reception do you think we get with these?

Happy St. Patty's Day

Today has been very fun. Jack slept for 9 hours in a row last night! He was asleep by 9pm and did not wake up until 6am (he then ate and went back to sleep for another hour)!!!!
It was SO nice to get such a good night of sleep on top of him sleeping for much longer periods regularly.
We went to our first Mom's group and had a music lesson which he LOVED! He had so much fun and really enjoyed the action. I think we might be looking into music and swimming this summer.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

One Happy Boy!

We have one happy boy. Over the last couple weeks we had a surprise birthday party for Bryan, went to Tahoe (our first weekend away), and exchanged roles with Bryan staying home for a week and me going back to work. Through all of this we are enjoying the ride.

Jack now weighs 16 pounds 2 ounces, is 24" long and is growing into a very fun baby to be around. He is smiling and giggling and working on rolling over! He is starting to take a pacifyer and is drooling like their is no tomorrow. He will sometimes take a bottle with a bit of effort, but is relenting when hungry! I think we can call him Urban Eats (there is a local restaurant called Jack's Urban Eats).

I have the rest of this month off and after being at work for a week I am enjoying each day I have! I hope you are all well!
