Updates and Stats

Jack went to the doctor today and updated his stats. 

Current Weight: 18 pounds 1 ounce

Current Length: 26" 

Current Age: 5 Months

We were able to determine that he still is having issues with food sensitivities so I will remain on the No diet until he is no longer nursing. We will probably have food restrictions the first couple of years so get ready for the list of No's in his diet when he starts food, which will be delayed until closer to 8 months of age. Otherwise things are looking good and the diet is helping very much and making him comfortable!

Uncle Newman

Anyone wonder what Uncle Newman has been up to lately? 

Pretty much the same as it was before. Uncle Newman is a very good friend, watchmen, pillow, snuggle buddy and toy for Jack. Jack gives a huge smile and follows Newman around the room anytime he notices his presence. It is pretty funny to watch Newman stand guard outside Jack's door and make sure we continue to take good care of Jack. 

Go Figure...

THANK YOU KELLY!!!

Bryan and I were so tired this morning I am not sure why we bothered to get up. Maybe it was because our friend Kelly was a LIFE saver and came to babysit Jack while Bryan and I took some time to breath and actually have adult conversations (ahem, the grown up ones anyway). 

It was so needed and welcome and we are very grateful for you Kelly! 

We ended up taking a drive after lunch to Coloma and walked around the state gold mine park. It was a beautiful day and we successfully stayed awake the entire time (after a night of Jack waking up every hour to eat, I though the nights of 40 min naps were over but apparently growth spurts reoccur throughout their life...)! 

Jack had so much fun that when we put him in his crib tonight I think he was praying for his parents to invite Kelly back to play with him again (first photos above).

Friday Night with the girls & boys

Friday night Melissa & Steve and Lindsy and Rod came to visit for dinner. Jack was the life of the party until he crashed on Lindsy for the night (top photo).

Jack turned 5 months old yesterday. Where did the time go? We love your smile Jack! (and those amazing baby legs!)

While the boys were busy in the backyard, Jack and I kept out of the way by celebrating Caroline's second birthday. Happy Birthday Caroline!

BIG weekend in the back yard!

Grandpa Randy, Uncle Chris, Bryan, Phil and Grandpa Dale all came to our place this weekend to help put in utilities in our back yard. Thank you so much for all the help! We (Bryan) could not have done it without you!
