We have been spending a lot of time in the water at our hotel. Jack LOVES the water. He gets excited when we leave our room and see the pool or even when he hears kids at the pool. We have been taking him down the water slide and when he gets to the top he leans over to get us to go down the slide. He laughs when we get to the bottom. There are water falls throughout the pool and caves to go in. It is a pretty amazing place to play. They have a small pool with a sand bottom that looks like a mini beach. It rains almost every day, but even in the rain it is still warm enough to play.

I'm thinking you'll need to incorporate a slide when you work a pool design for your backyard.
